Designed to Olympic proportions, these facilities allow athletes to practice explosive vertical and horizontal movements with maximum safety.

  • Long Jump / Triple Jump Runway: Features a professional synthetic approach lane (matching the 400m track) that ensures consistent traction and allows for a high-speed sprint into the take-off board.

  • The Landing Pit: A deep, spacious pit filled with high-quality, fine-grained sand that is regularly raked to ensure a soft landing and accurate distance measurement.

  • High Jump Setup: A dedicated zone equipped with a heavy-duty landing foam pit (crash mat) and adjustable uprights. The surface is all-weather synthetic, allowing for the precise “J-curve” approach required for the Fosbury Flop.

  • Precision Markings: Clearly visible distance markers and foul-line boards are maintained for training under competitive conditions.

FAQ

Can I use the jumping pits at the same time as the running track?

Yes, the jump areas are located on the perimeter of the track. However, for safety, athletes must ensure they do not cross the active running lanes when returning to the start of their runway.

What shoes are allowed for Long Jump and High Jump?

Athletics spikes (6mm to 9mm) are recommended for the runway. For High Jump, specific high-jump spikes with heel pins are allowed. Flat-soled running shoes are also permitted, but standard sneakers or football studs are strictly prohibited to protect the synthetic surface.

Is the High Jump mat always available for practice?

Due to weather sensitivity and safety, the High Jump crash mats are often covered or moved to storage during heavy rain or high winds. We recommend checking the Facility Status in the app before booking a High Jump slot.

Are there measurement tapes and rakes provided for Long Jump?

Yes, the stadium provides basic maintenance tools like rakes to level the sand. For distance measurements during personal training, we recommend bringing your own tape, though markers are permanently fixed alongside the pit for rough estimations.
