Our throwing arena is designed to meet international athletic standards, offering the stability and safety required for high-velocity field events.
The Throwing Circles: Features reinforced concrete circles with a smooth finish to allow for the proper “glide” or “spin” techniques. The Shot Put circle includes a standard regulation toe board (stop board).
The Landing Sector: An expansive, clearly marked grass or cinder sector that allows for clear impact visibility and accurate distance measurement.
Safety Cage: The Discus area is equipped with a high-strength protective steel cage with heavy-duty netting to ensure that errant throws do not endanger athletes on the nearby tracks or fields.
Level Surface: The entire throwing area is professionally leveled to ensure that the release angle and landing measurements are consistent with competition requirements.
For safety reasons, the Discus cage is only accessible during designated "Throws" hours. This ensures that a safety marshal or coach is present to monitor the landing sector. Please check the Safety Schedule in the app before booking.
Yes, most athletes bring their own equipment to ensure they are practicing with the specific weight required for their age category (e.g., 7.26kg for men, 4kg for women). Limited training equipment is available for those enrolled in Certified Coaching.
We recommend specific throwing shoes with smooth, rubberized soles designed for rotational movement. Standard running shoes or spikes are not permitted inside the concrete circles as they lack the necessary surface area for a safe spin and can cause slips.
While the stadium provides a clean environment, athletes are encouraged to bring their own magnesium carbonate (chalk) and equipment wipes. We ask that all users clean the circle after their session to maintain the grip for the next athlete.
